It rolls to a complete stop, and Dally throws his hands up in the air. You watch as the red ball falls into the socket, but the purple just barely stays out. "You're fiesty," he mumbles, and finally picks a spot. He moves around the table for about thirty seconds, trying to get a good spot. His chances are looking pretty bleak right now, which doesn't make you happy. "Deal," you say.ĭally manages to get all but two balls in the sockets within just two hits. If I don't, then you can have my pack of smokes." You grin, happily accepting the offer. Dally half-laughs at you, then bites his lip. "Oh yeah? What do you want to bet?" you respond. I bet I can make every single ball into it's home with just three more hits," he says. "You're pretty good at this," you say with your arms leaned up against the table. "Alright, probably in my whole life." Dally hits another ball in the hole. He takes the cigarette out of his mouth and gives you a quick look up and down. "Tonight?" you say, and waltz over to the pool table slowly. "I must say, you're the best looking woman I've seen here tonight," Dallas says, and picks up a pool cue, hitting a ball into the hole. "Lock up when you're done!" the bartender says, and walks out to his car. The bartender walks out of the bar, leaving it empty besides you and Dally. "I thought you never wanted to see me again?" he says with a devilish smile. Your heart speeds up the second he makes eye contact with you. You spin around and see none other than Dallas Winston. The second you put your handle on the knob, somebody says your name. "That's alright," you force a smile as you start to walk out the door. "Sorry Ma'am, we're closed for the night," he said. All you wanted to do was get a drink, but how could you resist Dallas Winston.īuck's was mainly empty, and as you were ordering a drink, the bar tender declined. You were on your way to go to Buck's that night, not intending to do what you did.
